What is The Hunter’s Experience?

This experience is the cornerstone of what we do. It brings everything together in what can only be described as an epic highland adventure that will have our clients track, hunt, fish, skin, butcher and cook, with much more thrown in along the way.  

What’s most important to us as hunters is what we want to share with our guests. It’s time in the wilderness. It’s respect for the incredible animals we call our quarry. It’s the experiences we share while hunting and the amazing things we see - because we’re silently out in the hills or amongst the trees when everyone one else is in bed!

Our motivation 

Some believe that hunting is well in to its autumn. This sad fact underpins exactly why today it's so important to reinvigorate it.

Today we measure success in the number of likes or follows. Life’s complex tasks are measured in screen time minutes not in miles covered. In our instantaneous virtual world where you can have next day delivery on anything you want, at a the click of a mouse, many have become allergic to slow meaningful activities such as the pursuit of food. Many these days see hunting as obsolete or unethical.

For us at The Wild Order there is nothing less civilised than picking packaged meat from the shop shelf. We are radically addressing this imbalance. 

Never has there been a greater need for us to restore our connection with the natural world, with our food and more importantly with how we source it.

We will be running the next edition of The Hunter’s Experience in December 2023. Bookings will open soon for this week-long immersive experience taking place on a magnificent 19,000-acre estate in Scotland.
